About Dr. Littlejohn
Dr. Littlejohn received her B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She later earned both her Master's and Doctoral degrees from Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. Her Master's degree is in School Administration and her doctorate is in Curriculum & Instruction. This is Dr. Littlejohn's twelfth year teaching Biology and her fourth year teaching at Phillip O. Berry High School.

Biology is the fundamental life science course of the high school curriculum. Biology is a North Carolina End of Course (EOC) test subject, and follows its own North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSCOS). This course includes topics on ecosystem dynamics, biochemistry, evolution, DNA and cellular reproduction, biotechnology, genetics, and it also prepares students for more advanced courses at the high school and college levels.
